Keeping in contact with people in your own city is hard enough let alone with people across the other side of the world. My plan was to update my Facebook status every so often so you could all see what I am up to, who I’m with and what I’m eating. Then I had coffee with family friends who chimed in and said “why not start a blog”. Feeling a little silly about the fact I should have thought of that earlier, I went to my trusty friend Google and typed in “Awesome free blog sites” (Ed, if you are reading this – I told you, awesome works). So here you are, reading the ‘about’ section of my blog probably hoping at some stage I will offer you something free to have made this worth you while, instead I will hold your concentration only for a little while longer and if you are lucky, I’ll give you a high five!
Right, back to my train of thought…I’m moving over to England – London, Maida Vale to be precise for a few reasons but I think they can all be categorised into “a change of pace”. I’ve differed uni, quit my job and packed up my room to see where the world will take me. It may seem crazy to some, or assume it’s just a whim but I’m a firm believer in being happy and doing what you love. Now, I don’t know how long I’m going for or if this will turn out the way I have planned but there is only one way to find out. So, I leave on the 30th of January with a suitcase and backpack in tow embarking on the scariest and most exhilarating journey of my life. I will update you all as the time goes on and my adventures become too good not to share but for now, enjoy your day/evening depending on if you are pretending to work or can’t sleep and I will speak to you soon!
